Introducing pre-inspection: Helping you prepare for moving out
At Balder, we continuously work to make everyday life as simple and secure as possible for our customers – even when it’s time to move on. That’s why we’re introducing a new service: the pre-inspection.
The pre-inspection is a voluntary, advisory meeting you can book after giving notice on your tenancy. During the visit, one of Balder’s inspection specialists will help you get a clear overview of how to best prepare your home ahead of the final move-out inspection.
“We know that moving out can be a busy and sometimes overwhelming time. With the pre-inspection, we want to give our residents a helpful starting point – offering guidance, reassurance and answers to the questions that naturally arise,” says Christina Holberg Fenger, Deputy Director at Balder.
Making it easy to do the right thing
During the visit, you’ll receive practical recommendations for things like cleaning, cleaning products and minor repairs. Afterward, we’ll send you a summary of the key areas to focus on – a helpful checklist for the rest of your move-out preparations.
“The pre-inspection isn’t about control. It’s about making it easier for each customer to do the right thing. On the day of the final inspection, it’s too late to descale the drain or clean the oven,” Christina Holberg Fenger explains.
“That’s why it’s important for customers to be aware of these things well in advance of moving out. We hope the pre-inspection will offer greater peace of mind throughout the process.”
The visit typically lasts 30 minutes and can be booked by contacting our customer service team at +45 5555 0707. We recommend scheduling the meeting no later than one month before your final inspection.
