Cosy Christmas in snowy weather: Balder invited customers on a magical trip to Tivoli
As snowflakes drifted down on a wintry Thursday in November, Balder welcomed everyone to this year’s big Christmas event. This time, the outing went to enchanting Tivoli, where all our customers were invited to enjoy some festive hygge.
Surrounded by snow-covered fir trees, countless Christmas lights and glittering baubles, we opened the doors to our annual Christmas gathering on Thursday 20 November.
For the fifth year in a row, we had invited all our customers to a Christmas celebration – this year at Tivoli. Our Christmas gift was an admission ticket for all our residents, who could bring up to five guests per home.
Christmas fun with pirate fish, a prize wheel and rollercoasters
We had decorated and “Balder-fied” Tivoli’s beautiful aquarium, where our customers could drop by, pick up free ride vouchers, grab a bag of Danish ‘pebernødder’ and spin our wheel of fortune.
“It’s wonderful that Balder gives us a Christmas gift like this every year. I’m especially pleased that we’re allowed to bring our own guests, who can share a great experience year after year. The prize wheel is a fun extra that both adults and children can try,” says Vibeke, who lives at our property Fælledudsigten in Ørestad.
She had brought her daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren along to Tivoli. The two little boys ran around excitedly, taking in the hundreds of colorful fish in the 30-metre-long coral reef aquarium beneath the Concert Hall:
“It’s lovely to stroll around and enjoy Tivoli’s beautiful Christmas decorations and truly unique festive atmosphere. But it’s also nice to be able to head indoors here in the aquarium, warm up and look at all the wonderful fish. It really lifts the experience for both children and adults.”
No Christmas without a shared gathering
The Christmas event has become a true Balder tradition, highlighting our wish to meet our customers and share cozy moments together. At the same time, it creates a great chance for neighbours to connect and get to know each other better.
Thanks to all our customers and their guests – both adults and children – for kickstarting Christmas with us once again. We look forward to continuing the tradition next year.
