Effective from 1 March 2022, Christina Holberg Fenger takes up the position of Deputy Director / COO at Balder Denmark.
“I am pleased to once again have Christina as a colleague at Balder Denmark. Christina brings the Balder spirit to everything she commits to. She is already familiar with our leadership style, company culture and our strong focus on customer and employee satisfaction.
Balder also has a strong focus on ESG, proptech and digitalisation. Christina’s great energy, experience, skills and network are a perfect match for her new role, in which she will have overall responsibility for these focus areas,” says CEO Flemming Joseph Jensen.
Christina will join Balder Denmark’s management team, which will thereafter be comprised of:
CEO, Flemming Joseph Jensen
Deputy Director / COO, Christina Holberg Fenger
Project Director, Jacob Hovmøller
Customer Director, Hannah Østergaard
Finance Manager, René Lindegaard Olsen
“A generational change in the family business led to my resignation from Balder over the summer. My decision freed up time for us as a family to reach a conclusion on the right succession plan, which has now been settled in the best possible way, and my future contribution will be as a board member and part family owner.
When Flemming then offered me the opportunity to return to Balder in a more strategic role, I did not hesitate for a second before saying yes. Balder is a fantastic company, and I still thrive on the day-to-day operational side. With ESG, digitalisation and the customer experience (CX) as an expanded focus and mandate, I look forward to once again working closely with Flemming and the rest of the management team,” says Christina Holberg Fenger.
Christina previously worked at Holberg Fenger Gruppen until 2013, and then at Thylander Gruppen until 2018. From 2018 until October 2021, Christina was employed as Property Director at Balder Denmark.
