Fortkvarteret is a new residential neighborhood where a former industrial area at Engvej 139A-149 and Jorisvej 11-21C is being transformed into a vibrant urban district with apartments, townhouses, and a care center— while respecting the area's history.
With Sjælsø Management as construction manager, Balder is developing an area that for many years was characterized by industry, including workshops and factories. Today, the buildings stand empty, but over the coming years the area will be transformed into a safe and welcoming neighborhood with room for both everyday life and community.
Fortkvarteret will include apartments and townhouses, a public care center, shared facilities and green outdoor spaces.
