Diversity in everyday life

At Balder, diversity and inclusion are not new concepts – but we know there’s always room for improvement. With an equal gender balance among both employees and executive leadership, we have laid a strong foundation for an inclusive workplace.

We already work actively with diversity initiatives across the organization. These include:

  • Recruiting from underrepresented genders and proactively searching LinkedIn when they are not reflected in current applicants
  • Actively encouraging minority candidates to apply through our job postings
  • Combating bias in the recruitment process to ensure the best candidate is selected – regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality, disability, or other background
  • Investing in more trainee programs to help build a broader and more inclusive talent pool for the future

We have also signed DI’s Diversity Pledge – a strategy consisting of 16 principles aimed at promoting a more inclusive culture in Danish workplaces. By doing so, we commit to continuously developing our practices, ensuring equal opportunities, integrating diverse perspectives, and making better, more informed decisions.
