The district plans for Balder Denmark’s two housing projects in the new residential district at Hundige Station have now been adopted. The real estate company looks forward to contributing to the development of the area.

The area by Hundige Station is now being transformed into an attractive district, called Hundige Strandby. Balder Denmark's two housing projects, Strandby Høje and Strandby Huse, contribute positively to this. The two properties have a living space of about 23,000 m2 and contain 337 apartments, with 2-5 rooms, for singles, families and couples of all ages. The apartments will help to attract a wide group of residents to the district.

The first sod has just been cut for Strandby Høje, and the property is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. Strandby Huse is also expected to be completed by the end of 2023.

"Hundige Strandby is an exciting and important development project, which by virtue of its unique location has huge potential. Here, the future residents will live close to shopping opportunities, Greve Marina, the beach and the S-train, which means that the residents have a short trip to Copenhagen, among other places. All these are qualities that appeal to a wide audience. We look forward to starting the construction of the two properties and creating a good framework for the community, quality of life and security", says Flemming Joseph Jensen.

Balder Danmark is building the properties in partnership with Danielsen Architecture, Sweco and Sjælsø Management.

An architectural landmark for Greve

Hundige Strandby consists of three sub-areas, extending from the area by Hundige Station to Hundige Strandvej.

Located near the bus stop, you will find Standby Høje, which will contain 289 apartments, from 2-5 bedrooms in size. According to the architect of the project, Kasper Danielsen, the property will be a landmark for Greve.

"For Greve, Strandby Høje will be an architectural landmark, as well as a benchmark for visionary urban development on a sustainable basis. The property is characterized by its bright appearance, which is achieved with bricks in light and geothermal shades, and sloping green roof surfaces. Around the buildings we will build green areas with play elements and quiet living areas," he says.

Strandby Huse consists of 3 houses on four floors, which is a modern interpretation of Denmark’s well-known multi-storey residential buildings. The houses are surrounded by green areas.

Greve Municipality has high expectations

Greve Municipality looks forward to the transformation of the area at Hundige Station.

"The station area is undergoing a fantastic transformation, which will result in a renewed good atmosphere here. The area will be characterized by a broad group of residents and lots of life, and most importantly it will be a safe place to live. We look forward to following the development of Balder Denmark's two housing projects, which will contribute positively to the area," says Pernille Beckmann, Mayor of Greve Municipality.
