The apartment

The apartment appears bright and spacious and is centered around a large open-plan kitchen and living room. The materials are of high quality. For example, the floor is in ash and is mat-finished, the kitchen is from Invita and is equipped with the latest appliances from Bosch Siemens in energy efficiency class A+. The bathroom is large enough to accommodate the busy family and has floor heating for the cooler days. In the bathroom, you will also find an integrated energy-friendly wash column from Bosch Siemens. The property

Carlsbakken is designed by the award-winning architects Holscher Nordberg who have designed a modern building with three rounded corners and varying heights. The round and soft corners give the property a unique and organic look. The varying heights in the building create a dynamic facade and provide a great inflow of light to the apartments and the inner courtyard. The red tiles have a historic reference to Hillerød and the iconic buildings of the city. Carlsbakken is a so-called low-energy building. For example, the roof is covered with sedum which, in addition to being beautiful, also absorb and delay large amounts of rainwater. The name, “Carlsbakken” (Carl’s hill in English), is named after the sloped terrain, which provides an exciting and dynamic inner courtyard and creates a natural division into zones that give space to physical activity and relaxation. The inner courtyard also has a sheltered bicycle stand.

Carlsbakken is located in the old railroad area in the heart of Hillerød. Cars are parked about 100 meters from the property because the area is connected by pedestrian streets that are designed to create safe open spaces with green areas. With the station close by, you can get to Copenhagen in less than 40 minutes. Carlsbakken is also located within walking distance to numerous good daycare institutions, public schools, high schools, and higher education institutions. A 10-minute ride on your bicycle in one direction will take you to the shopping center, SlotsArkaderne, and the historic monument of Frederiksborg Castle.
