The Apartment

The apartment appears bright and is built in classic, contemporary materials. With its fantastic inflow of light, the living room provides a great setting for your everyday life. The kitchen offers plenty of cabinet space and built-in appliances. The bathroom features underfloor heating, built-in spotlights, separate shower cabinet as well as washing machine and dryer. In the bedroom you will find closets with space for storage. You can apply for a pet permission in all our apartments.

NB: the pictures do not show the exact apartment, but instead are pictures of an apartment with the same floor plan and in the same condition. There may be minor variations in window, balcony and radiator placements between apartments of the same type. In addition, the view may vary if the image is taken from a floor slightly higher up or further down than the apartment in question. Therefore, we always require you to participate in a showing of the apartment before you can sign a lease agreement, so you are absolutely sure of what you get.

The Property

The property is called “Hesteskoen”, which translates “The Horseshoe”. It was built in 2015 and has been named after its three blocks, which are placed in a horseshoe that opens up towards the green fields of Kalvebod Fælled and ensures that all apartments have a view towards the fields. The construction is simple, but the varied location of the balconies gives the buildings a little dynamic. The structure of the property also ensures great inflow of light for all of its apartments. The heart of the property is a large, shared courtyard which encourages both play and relaxation in the sun. There is further direct access to a smaller lake with landing stage, so you, for example can go kayaking. The property features, among other things, a lift, an entry phone, a garbage chute and secure bicycle parking in the basement. Further, there is a parking garage right next to the property, where you can rent a parking space (however, the company By&Havn administers the parking spaces, not Balder).

Local Area

The local area is called, Ørestad South, which is Copenhagen's new green district and with a mix of housing, business, education, and culture. The area is characterized by modern architecture and Kalvebod Fælled's vast nature. The neighborhood is constantly evolving, and the thousands of new residents are creating an atmosphere full of life and activity. Although the protected nature is situated right outside, Ørestad South is very close to Copenhagen's center. By metro you will be at the station, Christianshavn, in 11 minutes or at Nørreport Station in 14 minutes. However, you have access to everything your heart might desire within this neighborhood. In addition to the magnificent nature, Ørestad South is home to Denmark's largest shopping center, Field's, and great cultural experiences, such as concerts, entertaining etc. in the Royal Arena. Further, schools, kindergartens, and shopping facilities are just outside the door.
