A new landmark in Solrød: A unique and sustainable property to welcome all generations
In addition to being a significant landmark for Solrød, Green Hills will also become a sustainable pioneering project, housing residents of all ages and a senior community in the heart of the property. The construction of the property is expected to be completed by 2022/2023.
Expectations were high in August 2019 when Solrød's local authority put the so-called "Cordoza-site" out to tender. The ambitions for the building site were to create a unique and ambitious residential property with high standards for sustainability, climate-proofing, architecture, and residence diversity. Balder was able to fulfill all of these high expectations and won the tender with the ambitious "Green Hills" project.
The property will comprise approximately 350 apartments of which 300 will be built by Balder. The apartments vary in size, from 2-6 rooms and 60-150 m2. In addition, 55 apartments will be built by Bovieran surrounding a 1,500 m2 winter garden. These apartments will constitute a senior community for seniors above the age of 55.
