Balder builds another new property in Copenhagen
In June, Balder announced that they had completed the construction of their first in-house project on Danish soil. Today, just five months later, the company has completed another Danish property, Lavetten, which is located in Orestad South and comprises 241 rental apartments.
Seven years ago, Balder made their first Danish property investments. Since then, the Swedish real-estate company has acquired a taste for the Danish market. In 2017 they established their project department in Denmark which today consists of 9 employees.
Lavetten is built by Balder Denmark, the Danish branch of the Swedish real-estate company Fastighets AB Balder. The property is designed by Danielsen Architecture and Sjælsø Management has performed the building construction management on the project.
Lavetten is characterized by its incline architecture. The property has 8 stories on its northeastern part and 4 stories on its southwestern part. The incline architecture draws sunlight into the inner courtyard and provides the residents with an optimal view of the beautiful, green surroundings. The apartments vary in size between 49-176 m2 and range from 1-5 rooms.
